Yes, I am the only lefty on both sides of my family and my family is HUGE. When I was schooling there were only 2-3 lefties in my class including me. Is there anything to be proud it? I certainly didn't go out my way to be a lefty but even with severe canning, I am still a lefty. Hard core!
Rain once theorized that our family could be a family of lefties force into right hand as she observed that many of the members started with the left hand. In fact Horsey showed tendency to use his left hand more too. So I may have a new member.
Generally people think lefties are really smart but that is a myth as we have yet to rule the world. But sometimes it is cool to feel special until some kid said you are handicapped because you are a lefty. Rain also theorized that lefty used to be the common crowd and righty were the special ones. Then everyone wanted to be special and soon, righty became common.
Really, does it matter being a lefty or righty? Unfortunately some parents still force their kids to be a righty. Maybe it's a right move given this is a right world. But a lefty kid like me would probably be more ambidextrous so it's not such a bad thing after all. Unless you are in a chinese wedding dinner.
